Plans to Rebuild Anza Branch Library Reviewed

The Anza Branch of the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) is scheduled to close for renovation and seismic upgrade work by next year.

New Lincoln Park Playground Planned

Lincoln Park Playground, at 33nd Avenue and Clement Street, bears the problems of many of the city's decades-old recreation areas, agree residents of the community and officials with the city government. The playground is plagued by rusted metal and arsenic in the wood, and no barriers separate the playground from the street and sidewalk - standard protocol in the construction of such facilities today.

Public Invited to Help Geary BRT Plan

The SF Transportation Authority is convening a Geary Citizens Advisory Committee to give advice based on environmental and engineering studies the department is conducting in its effort to implement a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) program for Geary Boulevard. An earlier advisory committee was disbanded after working on the Geary Corridor BRT Study.

New Captain Takes Command at Richmond Police Station
