Capt. Keith Sanford: Police Beat
Captain's messages from July 8 and July 15
Independence Day in the Richmond District was uneventful and filled with celebratory venues. Traffic concerns were minimal and our efforts at the beach with the rangers and beach patrol were positive.
National Night Out will be celebrated on Aug. 2, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., located at the Richmond Police Station/Anza mini park. We anticipate hosting the event with the Richmond Station Police Advisory Board and Safety Awareness for Everyone (SAFE) members.
The event will be comprised of food, drinks and activities for seniors, children and families. Lt. M. Moore is the "National Night Out" liaison and she can be reached at (415) 666-8000 for additional information. We look forward to meeting all our businesses and community members at this wonderful event!
The Police Commission meeting will be hosted by the members of the Richmond Police Station on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. The location is to be determined.
The Richmond Station distributes an e-mail newsletter every Friday. It is sent to several hundred e-mail addresses, contains information about recent crimes, arrests and upcoming events in the district. To be added to this list, please e-mail us at [email protected].
Capt. Keith Sanford is the commanding officer at the Richmond Station.
