Bond Measure Would Increase Water for West Side Disaster
Corroded pipes and cracks in the concrete retaining wall are just the
"tip of the iceberg" at a crumbling Twin Peaks water storage facility
that serves as the primary source for the SF Fire Department's Auxiliary
Water Supply System (AWSS).

Survey Identifies Sunset Buildings with Historical Value
On March 15, nearly 70 residents of the Outer Sunset District attended
a meeting to learn about the recently completed Oceanside survey of
historical buildings. After a presentation on the survey, the sponsors
took the time to answer the questions of property owners and residents.

OK'd to Clear Mt. Sutro Trailhead
Despite reservations and petitions for a continuance by Stanyan Street
residents, funding was approved to restore the historic trail leading
from Stanyan and 17th streets to Mount Sutro.

Phil Flores was an only child with a vivid imagination and creativity
to spare while growing up in blue collar South San Francisco. At El
Camino High School in the '80s, he had his circle of friends, but there
