Ed Jew Wins Election as Sunset
Supervisor

of the District 4 supervisorial election, utilizing the newly-implemented
ranked choice, or "instant run-off," voting system to go over the top.
It is the first time in Sunset District history that the District 4
election will not be decided by a December run-off election.
Plan to Restore Sunset Rec. Center
Advances
The Sunset Playground and Recreation Center is a busy three-acre spot.
Established at 28th Avenue and Lawton Street in 1940, it continues to
serve as an "all-in-one" facility for families and schools in the community.
But supporters say the site's 60-plus years are showing - outdated equipment
and a leaky roof. Now, there is some action to improve conditions at
the neighborhood facility.

of a major international magazine called VegNews.
