Mayor Signs On: Mayor Gavin Newsom visited Ulloa Elementary School March 19 for Read A Loud Day and Pajama Day. Many parents and members of the community came to the school to read to students. In addition to reading, Newsom visited different classrooms and signed autographs in Room 105 when the kids made the request. In the photograph above, Newsom signs an autograph for fourth grade student Paul Park, who looks on in delight.

Fight to Save Parkside School
Society Wants to Restore Original Building by John Reid, Jr.
A group of Outer Sunset District neighbors, called the Parkside School Preservation Society, is attempting to halt the demolition of the Parkside School, located at 25th Avenue and Vicente Street.

Supes Vote to Keep Central Fwy. on Track
