Recycling at Ocean Beach Safeway suddenly stops
Without much, if any, public notice, the NexCycle recycling service has disappeared from the Safeway parking lot near the intersection of Fulton Street and La Playa, the latest in a series of recycling center closures across San Francisco.

Amy Meyer is known to many local residents as the "mother" of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA).
