When the French-American Vanessa Woods enrolled at the San Francisco Arts Institute, she had no idea that she would be obtaining a masters of fine art degree in film at the end of her study. Woods registered at the Arts Institute to study photography after graduating cum laude in art history and visual art at Barnard College in New York.
